ATSUSHI MURAKAMI: STEREOGRAPHER

Our in-house stereographer, Atsushi Murakami is one of the most talented and experienced 3D technical directors working in the world today. Internationally recognized as a leading expert in both digital and live 3D, Atsushi has been a primary force behind the recent global renaissance of 3D production.
Beginning his career as a 3D engineer at NHK Media Technology in 1991, Atsushi has been involved in the front-line of 3D HD research, development, and production. A pioneer in the innovation and design of today’s 3D camera systems, Atsushi not only built the first real 3D camera, but he was also implemental in transforming conventional 2D HD broadcast cameras into a state-of-the-art 3D system.
